Curated by Puja Vaish, the exhibition sets up conversations within Nasreen Mohamedi’s own works and the important art centres of Bombay and Baroda through artworks by some of her peers & through letters and photographs.

On display are early works, drawings, etchings, lithographs, ink works and canvases by Nasreen along with an archival section of photographs, process drawings & studio notes. Many of the artworks and archival materials have never been exhibited before.

It is the first major retrospective in Mumbai of Nasreen Mohamedi’s works, since 1991, a year after she passed away.
