The exhibition organised by Madhvi Subrahmanian & Reyaz Badaruddin, displays the myriad responses of 35 artists from the first Indian Ceramics Triennale – Breaking Ground -as they explore the curatorial prompt of squaring the circle. Symbolising, the pursuit of the impossible, the concept of squaring the circle resonates with clay artists who routinely embrace the impossible and unpredictable in their practice.

The exhibition serves as the prelude to the upcoming edition of the Triennale, “Common Ground” which will be held at Arthshila Delhi from Jan 19th to March 31st 2024. Squaring the Circle runs from June 24th 2023 to August 27th 2023, at Arthshila Santiniketan.
