Event excerpt

The exhibition brings together 11 artists who use miniature painting techniques and aesthetics to explore the interplay of sound, noise, and music in the visual realm. This exhibition provokes contemplation on how art responds to sound stimuli and how auditory sensations influence our visual perception. The artists reveal the city as a site of acoustic encounters that often go unnoticed, shedding light on themes such as environmental stress, religion, violence, and sardonic humor. In essence, “The Figure of Sound” offers a diverse exploration of the relationship between sound and visual art.
